Module 4 "Systems Thinking"
On the 14th of June 2023, on the occasion of the 4th Pilot Network Meeting of the All-Ready project in Montpellier, Jo Bijttebier and Sylvie Fosselle (ILVO) organized the training on Systems Thinking, which was part of the testing phase of the Capacity Building Program of the All-Ready project.
The aim of the training on systems thinking is to help participants to understand how systems thinking can support them in their daily work.
This is achieved by providing:
- an introduction to systems thinking: what does systems thinking involve and when should we use systems thinking?
- to understand why systems thinking is an important competency for the agroecology transition.
- to understand why systems thinking is an important competency for agroecology living labs and research infrastructures.
- to have an introduction and first exercise with two tools for systems thinking (causal loop diagrams, actor mapping)
The training is targeting researchers in agroecology transition and facilitators of agroecology living labs.
The training was held during the ALL-Ready Pilot Network Meeting in Montpellier.
